Day 15

## **TODAY’S SCRIPTURE**
Psalm 51:1-2 “Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin!”

### **THOUGHT FOR TODAY:**
How wonderful it is that our God sees us in our sin and has mercy on us. Sometimes asking God to cleanse you from sin can seem scary. It can seem like we have failed when we admit to sin and ask for mercy and that God would wash our sin away. But be encouraged, Jesus' desire is to always, always, always reconcile us and crush the sin that keeps us from Him. So rejoice! Ask for mercy, it’s yours for the receiving.


### **PRAYER**
O God I come before you today and ask for mercy in my sin. That you would wash me and make me renewed in your Spirit. I thank you for your grace and kindness — I praise you, I thank you and I love you, My Lord and my God. Amen.
