HCC Property Update
Recently the HCC Council wrapped up a six-month prayerful and discerning process regarding the HCC Property at Gig Harbor North across from the YMCA.
The unanimous and unified conclusion was simply, "let's build a building with key partners so that the facility is used 7 days a week, with HCC being the anchor tenant on weekends".
We are now in the process of identifying potential partners with a similar mission as HCC's.
One potential partner we have started talking to is the YMCA right across the street from us. They would potentially use 10,000 square feet, Monday through Friday, for a community early childhood education program. This would meet a tremendous need in the Peninsula area and place the church in a very strategic position to reach young families.
We are continuing to explore the possibility of 2-3 additional partners for this new building. As we do, we thought it would be great to hear from you. Who are some potential partners or non-profit organizations we could include in this facility that would get used seven days per week and still fulfill our mission as a church?
