Path Forward - Step ONE

As we move into Washington State's Phase 2 and soon to be in Phase 3 with the Safe Start Guidelines, I want to let you know what our next steps as a worshipping community will be.

According to the Covid-19 Phase 2 requirements for faith-based organizations, we can implement the following:

Hold outdoor services with up to 100 individuals.

Provide in-home services or counseling inside a person’s residence with up to 5 total individuals.

With those two guidelines, we will be offering the following as our next steps for HCC Gatherings.

First, we will continue providing HCC @ Home on Sundays for those of you who still have health concerns and are not comfortable with crowds at this time.

Secondly, starting in mid July, we will start providing Sunday OUTDOOR morning services at the Sehmel Park Amphitheater. We will begin by offering one service at 10 a.m. Other services will be added in the weeks that follow.

To stay under the 100 person limit, reservations will be required. This will be available on the HCC App or at HCCtoday.org/Events. Guidelines for social distancing will be followed, and you will provide your own chairs and choose where you want to sit.

Thirdly, HCC small groups, leadership team meetings, and music team rehearsals will also be regularly scheduled.

Our Generation Church Small groups will also be starting up again under Pastor Kramer’s leadership.

We will continue providing family packets for children’s bible activities and lessons.

If everything continues to go according to plan, we hope to be back at Gig Harbor High School in the Fall.

Stay Safe, and stay in touch! One of the ways you can do that is by letting us know how we can pray for you, your family, and your friends. CLICK HERE
