Moving Forward

We are very excited about several items we want to communicate with you regarding HCC's ongoing ministries:

• This week we will be our second annual Night To Shine event as we host 185 special needs guests at the Gig Harbor YMCA. We have over 432 volunteers serving to provide a special night for our honored guests, each special needs guest will be crowned King and Queen of the Prom. Night To Shine is one of the biggest serving highlights of the year for HCC.
• The permits needed to get our equipment installed at Gig Harbor High School are now under review with the city. We are hoping to get approval in the next few weeks enabling more flexibility with staging, lighting, video streaming and a more efficient set up on Sunday mornings. We remain grateful for all of our set up and tear down teams who have been so faithful in getting things in place on Sunday mornings.
  
• We are now in the planning process and working with several firms to develop an objective assessment for a possible future facility at our Gig Harbor North property. A number of our leadership teams will be involved shaping the future vision of HCC and the Harbor Hope Center. These meetings will help clarify the kind of facility that will be needed to fulfill our shared mission.
  
• Finally, we are just finishing the details for another awesome HCC Summer Camp at Malibu. Registration will be open on Sunday, February 16th. The dates will be August 14-18th. It is a relationship rich experience. Consider joining us this summer!
