HCC Student Ministry Transition

One of my favorite quotes from Mr. Rogers is, "Often when you think you are at the end of something; you're at the beginning of something else."

That is the best definition of a transition.

This past week I announced that Kramer and Alyssa Payne, our student ministries pastors, will be transitioning out of their role at HCC at the end of this month. We will certainly miss them!

For the past five years, Kramer and Alyssa have led our student ministry with vigor and passion, reaching hundreds of middle and high school students with the love of God. They have made a significant impact in the lives of our students. Kramer has been a wonderful gift to our church and community, and we pray as they move forward in their calling that God will continue to bless them.

We will have an interim student ministries director who will step in during this transition and then bring on a new student ministries pastor. So please be praying with us as we begin the search knowing that God will lead the right person as he has in the past.

REMINDER: This weekend, HCC will be out in the community serving during ROAD TRIP. We will have an HCC "online service only" option starting at 9:00 am. It will be available on the HCC APp, HCCtoday.org or on YouTube under HCC253.  If you have not signed up for a project yet, there are still a few openings at Serve253 or on your HCC App under ROAD TRIP.

See you on Sunday, December 12, for our nex series…
