Day TEN - JESUS IS OUR DELIVERER

Praise the Lord—He breaks the chains that bind us to sin and the world.

Since the beginning, God has been breaking the chains of unhealthy patterns, unjust practices, and unholy powers that have kept His people from experiencing abundant kingdom life. Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection offer deliverance from that which keeps us bound to sin and destruction, opening the door to life everlasting. 

Today’s Scripture

“By this, you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming and is now already in the world. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” —1 John 4:2-4 (NKJV) 

“And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.” 

Prayer Guide

Pray for those who need deliverance from sin that is keeping them from experiencing the fullness of God’s love and grace. 

Pray for people to be delivered from institutions, systems, or leaders that prevent them from living the abundant, flourishing lives God has ordained.  

Pray for believers to boldly demonstrate the freedom that is found in Christ as they turn away from unhealthy patterns, unjust practices, and unholy powers to model the hope of Christ’s life, death, and resurrection through radical love, gracious hospitality, and extraordinary generosity.
