Day 15

##** 1 Timothy 2:1-3**
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior.

##**PRAYER**
*Eternal Father-your grace is immeasurable and your truth is incomparable.*

Today I pray for people who have been placed in authority over us in our community and in our country. I lift up the Executive branch of our government and pray for wisdom from above. I pray for the Supreme Court as you give them discernment with every case that is brought before them. May they rule with your justice in mind. I pray for Congress as they establish the laws of the land, may they rule with your righteousness. I also pray for our military, our police officers and our first responders. May you protect them as they protect us and care for our well-being. May our nation become a country that seeks you daily as we surrender ourselves to your will.
*Lead me today in uniquely powerful ways as you enable me to do your will.**
