Trying But Still Coming Up Short!
This past week I ran into someone who has been part of HCC for some time. They asked, "Has HCC reopened yet?" My immediate reply was, "We certainly have. We reopened on Easter Sunday with 2 services at 9:00, and 10:30 am at Gig Harbor High School."
When I got in my car, it dawned on me that many of us receive information differently. Some people read this blog every week. Others stay in touch through our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter posts. Many stay up to date with the HCC App. Others through snail mail when we mail out postcards and some at the grocery store when I run into them.
Know that we will continue to do everything in our power to keep you in the loop about all the wonderful things happening at HCC.
As we continue to regather each Sunday morning, we focus the first Sunday of each month, as the weather improves, with opportunities to rebuild community through outdoor barbecues. Our next one will be on July 4th at 10:00 am at Gig Harbor High school. We will be providing one service with music, worship and a talk, followed by hamburgers, hot dogs, games and featuring a band of our high schoolers called "Cromwell".
It's going to be a fun day. Bring your own chair. (if you forget, we'll have one for you)
