The Most Important Moment At HCC
Every year at this time, we prepare for the most exciting moment in the life of our church as we celebrate lives transformed by the grace of God through Jesus.
What are these moments, you ask? The celebration of baptizing followers of Christ. This is a pillar and practice of our faith that began with the early church right after the resurrection and ascension of Jesus.
Galatians 3:26-28 says this: “So in Christ Jesus, you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
All the labels that our culture and religious systems place on us are removed, and at that moment, only one thing is true, “you are a child of God by faith.”
