The Most Read Bible Verse In 2020

The year 2020, for many people, was very challenging. What can we learn from it as we embrace 2021?

What is intriguing is that during the most challenging moments of this past year, Bible searches soared online, and a record number of people turned to Scriptures. As a matter of fact, the popular You Version Bible App saw searches increase by 80 percent in 2020, totaling nearly 600 million worldwide.

Do you know what the most searched, read, and bookmarked verse was in 2020? It was Isaiah 41:10, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

This was a promise given to Israel as they have become exiles from Babylon, where they were in bondage for quite some time. They had a series of bad years, and God reminds them that he will be there for them just like he was when they were in the wilderness, yet he would work even greater miracles now.

It's a great affirmation that we can all embrace as we go into 2021. Remember, He will be with you, He will strengthen you, and He will help you. Trust Him!
